**Service Location Update

Funeral Service for Ms. Loretta Marie Holmes will be Monday, October 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Washington and Charlotte C. Jordan Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Hart No. 2 Cemetery. Public viewing will be Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the funeral home.  The family is receiving friends at 103 Les Drive, Darlington, SC. Jordan Funeral Home, Inc. of Darlington is in charge of arrangements.

Lorretta Marie Holmes, daughter of the late Windell Holmes and Diane James, was born August 14, 1981. She departed this earthly life and gained her eternal wings on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

She was a graduate of Lamar High School in Lamar, South Carolina and was previously employed at Ruiz Foods in Florence, South Carolina.

Lorretta loved raising her children and spending time with them. She was a lover of music and dancing. 

Those left to mourn her passing and cherish her memories are: her children, Avery Bell and Cameron Bell; her mother, Diane James; her step-father, Alphonso James; her brothers, Windell Holmes, Jr. and Rick Holmes; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Elease Holmes of Darlington, SC; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Coe of Darlington, SC; two nephews; one niece whom she adored; six uncles; eight aunts; a host of other relative and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Windell Holmes and grandfather, Mr. Lawrence Coe.
