Trevon Kailan Greene was born on September 12, 1993, in Philadelphia, PA to Sharon Green and Troy Crocker. He was educated in the Philadelphia School District and graduated from Overbrook High School.
“Tre”, as he was affectionately known by those that loved him was a kind and gentle man. Tre was the one of structure and order. He was a man of few words, but big on Love and truly cared for everyone he encountered. It’s not that often that you meet someone that truly doesn’t have a bad bone in their body; if you had the honor of meeting, Tre, you were impacted in a special way.
Family was everything to Tre! If he gave you his word, you could count on him keeping it. He took great pride in supporting his mother in the care of his grandparents when they relocated to Jacksonboro. The death of his grandmother, Geraldine, was difficult for him; Tre visited her grave weekly. He dressed-up like Santa for his nieces, nephews, and cousins at Christmas and oh how lovely it was to experience what joy and laugher that filled the atmosphere. Family time was Tre’s best time!
Tre loved his computer and his corner of the house. Watching Aimee movies was his passion. He had many favorites which were: One Piece, Dragon Ball-Z, The Last Airbender, and Naruto. He didn’t ask for much and required little
Tre’s daily walks from the house to the tracks and back were a must. His neighbors often would stop and say I need to get out and walk with you. The community of Jacksonboro will miss his gentle spirit.
Tre was steadfast in his routine; he watched the same movies and ate and enjoyed the same foods. He was famous for his fried chicken wings, which he’d share with only a few. His other favorite meal was two (2) double cheeseburgers with no pickles and onion and an order of French Fries from McDonalds. His sister-in-law China’s seafood boil was his absolute favorite.
As his mother sat by his bedside whispering loving words into his ear, God called Tre into his loving arms, and he passed away on December 31, 2022.
Trevon was proceeded in death by his beloved grandmother Geraldine Greene, grandfather Robert Crocker and brother Kyree Crocker.
Trevon leaves to cherish is loving memory, his mother Sharon Green, father Troy Crocker, brothers; Demetrius Greene and Kyle Greene, sisters; Briana Crocker, Mercedes Conyers and Evanna Baker, grandfather Willie Greene, grandmother Joyce Crocker, Sister-in-Law Conchita Greene, nephews Kalain and Carter, nieces; Kayla, Amani, Ke’hlani and Amani, uncles; Paul Greene, Kevin Greene, Willie Gibson, Tyler Crocker and Reggie Carthoun, aunts; Melvina, Sharon, Tonya and Bridget. Special auntie Facetta. A host of cousins, relatives, and lifelong friends from his Philadelphia neighborhood.
Lovingly Submitted,
The Family
